The KKFF Foundation has partnered with the Prague 6 district to revitalize the gardens of Na Okraji Kindergarten and Motýlek Kindergarten. The cooperation memorandum was signed by Prague 6 Deputy Mayor Mariana Čapková and the foundation’s director Luboš Veselý.

The revitalization of the gardens at Na Okraji and Motýlek kindergartens will provide children with new opportunities for play, learning, and connection with nature. We are implementing these projects in collaboration with school founders, teachers, parents, and the local community to ensure that the final spaces best meet the needs of both children and the wider neighborhood.

“The kindergartens and primary schools we establish are a key pillar of our district’s future. Investing in their environment and the development of children is an investment in our shared future. I am pleased that the Karel Komárek Family Foundation shares this vision,” explained Jakub Stárek, Mayor of Prague 6.

“We are delighted to collaborate with Prague 6 and help prepare school gardens for the challenges of the future. Our experience shows that transforming school gardens has a positive impact on children's education as well as community life,” said Luboš Veselý, director of our foundation.

The projects will be carried out in the coming months. Specific timelines and details will be finalized during the planning and preparation of each garden.
