The Dvořák Prague Festival Concluded with a Concert by the Czech Student Philharmonic

The international music festival Dvořák Prague was brought to a close under the baton of conductor Ingo Metzmacher. Accompanied by the Czech Student Philharmonic, soloists cellist Pablo Ferrández, violinist Alexandra Conunova, and pianist Dmitry Shishkin excelled in Beethoven's Triple Concerto.


Over the span of nineteen days, the 17th edition of the festival offered a total of 28 concerts and ten accompanying events, which attracted a record 18,500 spectators. It has been confirmed that Dvořák Prague is one of the most important cultural events in the Czech Republic. In addition to Dvořák, the program featured Smetana, Beethoven, Mahler, and other world‑renowned composers.

The 18th edition of Dvořák Prague will take place from September 5 to 23, 2025.
