Pianos for Schools Supports Talented Artists

The Pianos for Schools Supports Talented Artists scholarship fund is one of our newest initiatives. We do not only support talented young musicians financially, but our goal is to also help them systematically build their careers in the long term. Gifted individuals receive support from top mentors and have the opportunity to develop their skills in masterclasses and through performances both at home and abroad.

You can support the project directly on its website.

Support

Identifying and supporting young talent is absolutely essential. It is like nurturing rare seeds that will one day bear extraordinarily beautiful fruit. Eventually, it will enrich us all.

Dana Syrová

Director of the MenART Academy

The scholarship fund is overseen by an expert panel composed of specialists in classical music performance, original piano composition, and interpretation across all genres. The panel includes top Czech artists and educators engaged in both advanced and elementary music education.

Jan Simon

Talent is a gift that requires work and support. The foundation’s support gives young people the confidence they need to achieve their goals.

About the project

Support for Young Talented Artists

The first musicians to enter the scholarship support program were Jan Schulmeister, Adam Znamirovský, Vivi Nguyen, Nora Lubbadová, and Vladimír Slavíček. We provide financial and professional support to all these promising stars. They receive guidance from members of the expert panel, which selects young musicians for the scholarship support and works with them continuously. The expert panel includes Ivo Kahánek, Jarmila Holcová, Beata Hlavenková, and Tomáš Kačo, along with project partners: Petrof President Zuzana Ceralová Petrofová and Dana Syrová from the MenART Academy.

The panel's activities align with the foundation's ongoing efforts in supporting talent. Since 2019, we have supported young talent through the programs of the Academy of Classical Music, notably the Concertino Praga competition.
