Concertino Praga

In line with our mission, we have been a partner of the international multi‑disciplinary music competition Concertino Praga since 2019, organized by the Academy of Classical Music and Czech Radio. The goal is to identify exceptional talents under the age of 16 and support their further education and professional development. The competition final always takes place as part of the Dvořák Prague festival.

The winners of the competition receive a foundation scholarship of up to 5,000 euros for their studies. They also have the opportunity to create a professional radio recording at Czech Radio and perform at the South Bohemian Concertino Praga Festival. Holders of the 2nd and 3rd prizes, as well as the First‑Degree Honorable Mention, will also receive a professional audiovisual recording of their final performance at the Dvořák Prague festival.

The list of award‑winning artists already includes dozens of names. Among them are key figures in the world of music, such as Václav Hudeček, Zoltán Kocsis, Christian Tetzlaff, Isabelle Faust, Dmitry Sitkovetsky, Radek Baborák, Ivo Kahánek, and many others.
