The Ark I Project, ceremonially completed on December 18, 2024, attracted considerable interest from both domestic and international media. The mobile digitization workplace, aimed at protecting cultural heritage such as books and rare manuscripts, even captured the attention of BBC.

Česká televize repeatedly reported on the project in its Události program, as did TV Nova in Televizní noviny and CNN Prima News in its Zprávy. Online outlets such as Novinky.cz, Deník N, Deník E15, as well as the websites of the Ministry of Culture of the Czech Republic, the National Library of the Czech Republic, and others also covered the story. A feature about Ark I was broadcast by Český rozhlas Radiožurnál.

International media showed interest as well, including The Newsroom program aired on BBC World Service Radio. The extensive media coverage highlights the societal importance of the ArK initiative. The protection of Ukraine’s cultural heritage, threatened by war, requires immediate attention and support. The KKFF will continue to raise awareness about this project and its successors in collaboration with its partners.
