Pianos for Schools: we launched the third fundraising campaign

The Foundation has launched the next round of the Piana to Schools project. A total of 17 primary art schools have started to seek 5 new pianos and 12 Petrof pianos worth almost CZK 10 million. As in previous years, we will multiply every donated crown.
The third round of Pian to Schools was attended by 59 ZUŠ. The expert committee selected 17 of them on the basis of the evaluation of predefined criteria. The Foundation published their stories and profile texts on the website www.pianadoškol.cz. Fans of the popular project can thus choose the ZUŠ that is closest to them geographically or emotionally. Schools from all regions of the Czech Republic are represented.
"The launch of a public fundraiser is always an important moment for us at the Foundation, to which we attach our utmost attention. In the case of Piana for Schools, we rely on best practices. This means that on the one hand, we try to support schools in raising funds for new instruments professionally, and on the other hand we continue to match every crown provided by donors. I believe that by the end of June 2025, all primary art schools will have a new instrument," said KKFF's Special Projects Manager Tereza Sobotová.
